Worsley Woods Ladies 5 Mile Trail Race

2022 sees the return of Swinton Running Clubs iconic Ladies Race moved to a new date and using our new trail course, we've moved to the scenic trails of Worsley Woods to take advantage of the well maintained mixed pathways and woodland trails.  A quick well marshalled course will guarantee an enjoyable event for PB hunters and novice runners alike.

Race Information

Race Headquarters: Beesley Green Community Centre, Greenleach Lane, Worsley, Manchester, M28 2QW. Numbers can be pick up from Registration between 7.30am and 8.30am. Entries on day will also be available.

Parking

Car parking is available however it is limited so please car share where possible.  Other parking is available on Greenleach Lane.

Facilities

Food & drinks and toilet facilities available.

First Aid, Mile Markers.

Apologies the course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes.

Chip timing & computerised results available on the day.

Entries on the day up to race limit if available, limit 400 entries.

For safety reasons the use of ALL headphones ARE BANNED from our races.

Prizes awarded for the first three women.

First female in all veteran categories.

First female team (4 to count).

1 prize per runner excluding the team prize.

Affiliated Fee £12.50 - Unaffiliated £14.50 plus registration fee

Entry on the day is +£2 subject to availability.

We will accept requests for changes to entries no later than midnight 26th April 2022

Start/Finish

The start is on the Roe Green Loopline approximately 200m north of the Roe Green Bridge and a five minute s walk from Race HQ.

The finish is the same point as the start line.

A one-way system will be in place to take finishers back to the Community Centre.

Presentation

The presentation will be held at Beesley Green Community Centre as quickly as possible after the event.

Covid-19 rules

All participants must undergo a self-assessment for any Covid-19- symptoms. No one should attend the race if they, or someone they live with, has any of the following: A high temperature (above 37.8°C), a new, continuous cough, a loss of, or change to, their sense of smell or taste.  Should an individual have demonstrated any such symptoms, they must not participate and should follow relevant guidance in their country of residence.
